Are you ready to change and grow?
When we engage with our clients it’s important to get a gauge for how ready they are to grow. Throughout the program at various stages, we assess the readiness via a survey that identifies any cultural barriers and root causes that could block the program.
The purpose of this readiness assessment is to identify the “people” related issues in the growth program. By understanding these issues you will be in a position to identify, plan for and implement strategies to overcome potential barriers to growth.
Here are the four basic principles of the readiness assessment and the core principles behind them.
- Take a temperature check: You cannot start real growth unless you have a realistic picture of the current internal climate of the organisation.
- Identify the barriers: Cultural issues to growth should be identified and action taken to remove them early in the process.
- Talk to the people at the coalface: The rank and file often know more than the Management and Leadership about real needs, problems and potential solutions because they see them and the impact of them every day.
- Be prepared for resistance: Make plans to overcome fear, anger and complacency since they are natural and inevitable.
Understanding the employees, managements and leaderships perceptions of any growth program is crucial, since to most of us perception is reality.
The readiness assessment can be done in either an electronic format using a survey tool or in a simply paper based assessment. please contact us for further details.
